Corey Harp serves as a physician assistant for Dr. William Messamore. He believes that proper patient education on a particular diagnosis, the potential treatment options, and expectations of conservative and/or surgical treatment is essential to patient satisfaction. “I feel that in order to develop an appropriate treatment plan, I need to understand what the patient’s goals are. Each individual patient is unique, and being able to come up with a suitable treatment plan through appropriate conversation is key.”
Corey was raised just outside of Wichita and attended the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center to earn his Master of Physician Assistant degree after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Wichita State University. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant and licensed with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.
He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistant and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery. Outside of work, Corey enjoys being with his family, working out, and watching Marvel movies.
