Serving as a physician assistant for Dr. Steven Ericksen, Mark feels that patient education is one of the most important factors. Mark strives to help the patient understand the condition, treatment and recovery the patient faces. "If you hear what the patients concerns are, you can help in their understanding of course of treatment and recovery. I feel that is part of my role in assisting Dr. Ericksen."
Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences from Kansas State University. He is also a graduate of the United States military Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP), receiving his Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree through the University of Nebraska Medical Center after completing training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, and Fort Riley, Kansas.
